Team Medallion: Top 10% of Realtor® Teams in REBGV 2013, 2014, 2015
I've partnered with two great RE/MAX Realtors®, David Chen and Kevin Redl.
Together we service all of Greater Vancouver and offer real estate services in English, Mandarin, Taiwanese and Cantonese.
David holds an International Real Estate Specialist (I.R.E.S) designation and has tremendous experience marketing high-end real estate properties. His spectrum of business projects includes marketing high-end condominiums and some of Vancouver's finest luxury homes with values as high as sixteen million dollars.
Real Estate has always been David's passion. At age thirteen, David started working alongside his father who owned a well-known construction corporation building exclusively in huge scale government-owned developments and public constructions in Taiwan. He witnessed some of the largest projects and developments the Country has seen to date, including Port of Taipei and Port of Taichung.
David eventually came to Vancouver when he was 16 and later spent four years studying Psychology at the University of Toronto. Upon returning Vancouver, David decided to pursue his own real estate career. His friendly approach, strong negotiating skills and knowledge of real estate has enabled him to provide outstanding service to clients. David is also a co-owner of a local construction company which works attentively with local and overseas investors seeking to develop real estate portfolio in Canada.
Kevin Redl brings a solid business, negotiations and real estate background to the team.
Born in rural Saskatchewan, Kevin grew up in the Lower Mainland and has worked in most regions of BC. He enjoys the lifestyle his home in Yaletown offers, and loves to spend time at his beach house in Sechelt on the Sunshine Coast.
Kevin holds a BA in Commerce and an MA in Economics from Simon Fraser University. He obtained his sales training and experience with Proctor and Gamble and Finning International in the 1980’s, and then spent ten years in sales and management with Anglo American Cedar Products Ltd. in Mission, BC. He eventually became President, and, along with his wife Colleen Friesen, controlling shareholders. In 1996, they sold their shares in the company to fellow employees, and shortly after, they made their move to the Sunshine Coast.
While in Mission, Kevin spent two terms on municipal council, including one term as mayor, giving him unique insights into real estate and community issues.
Since leaving the forest industry, Kevin has spent time as a Teaching Assistant in the Department of Economics at SFU, managed the Robson St. location of Liberty Wine Merchants, Vancouver’s favourite private wine retailer, and done personal financial and business consulting while managing a successful real estate investment portfolio.
An avid wine lover, Kevin holds an Advanced Certificate in Wine and Spirits from the UK’s Wine and Spirit Education Trust, and is a Certified Specialist of Spirits with the American Society of Wine Educators. He is a member of a monthly book club, a keen fisherman, avid golfer, enjoys films, hiking, travel and bicycle touring.
